The
house was built in harmony with local
traditions and we respected that
spirit when we renovated it.
The walls are made of ochre stones and the
flat grey stones (called lauzes)
that were used to build the roof can still
be seen on its contour.
The house is sheltered by a porch in which
a blacksmith had established his workshop.
The forged tools were used to shoe
oxen in an open stall built a few
steps away from the house.
Today, this renovated farm evokes relaxation
and rest, refinement and authenticity. |
